Can't Call Your Mom Gathering
An Intimate Evening for Motherless Mothers in Barrie, Ontario
One evening dedicated to honouring the maternal line and moving grief forward for the woman who is living, loving and leading after losing her mom.
This evening was made for the woman who is doing all of it mothering, leading, building, loving — while carrying a grief that most of the world doesn't have space for.
The woman who still reaches for her phone to call her mom. The woman who has had the most extraordinary thing happen — her child's first steps, a business win, an ordinary Tuesday — and felt the absence louder than the joy.
The woman who is strong for everyone else and has nowhere to put the weight of missing her.
If that is you, you are exactly who this evening was created for.
On June 5th at 6pm, Nicole Weston is opening the doors to an intimate, sacred evening for motherless mothers in Barrie, Ontario.
This is not a grief support group. This is not a workshop or a seminar. This is a gathering. The kind our moms would have hosted for us if they knew we needed it this badly.
One evening. A space where you do not have to explain yourself, perform okayness, or choose between your grief and your joy. You can bring all of it through the door.
We will eat together. We will move through a guided ritual honouring the maternal line — the women who came before us, what they carried, what they passed down, and what we are now healing and redefining. We will have a sacred, held moment to say the things we have never had space to say. We will laugh. We will cry. We will feel her close in a way that only happens when you are surrounded by women who truly understand.
You will leave with a keepsake, a community, and a heart that is fuller than when you walked in.
OVERVIEWGrief gets lighter when we carry it together. And there is something that happens in a room full of women who understand — something that cannot be replicated on a screen or in a podcast or in a book. A recognition. A relief. A remembering of who you are underneath everything you are holding.
That is what this evening is.

Is this for me?
This event is for the women who are:
motherless and mothering
became a mom after your mom died
Estranged from your mother
On your journey of becoming a mother
and you can relate to all or some of these experiences:
You lost your mom and you are raising children of your own — doing the most important job of your life without the woman who showed you how.
You are running a business, leading a team, or building something meaningful while carrying a grief that nobody in your professional world really sees or knows how to hold.
You have searched for a space where you could bring the grief and the ambition, the sadness and the joy, the anger and the love — all at the same time — and never quite found it.
You are tired of trying to squeeze your feelings down. You are ready to be witnessed.
You want to honour her. You want to honour yourself. And you want to do it surrounded by women who get it because they are living it too.
What you will experience
A guided ritual honouring the maternal line You will be led through a sacred, intentional experience designed to reconnect you with her and with the lineage of women you come from. What was passed down. What is being healed. What you are carrying forward.
A moment to say what you've never been able to say There will be a held, safe space in the evening to share what you would say to her if you could call her right now. This is the moment the podcast was built for. In a room of twenty women, it is extraordinary.
Real connection with women who understand No one in this room will look at you blankly. No one will say she'd want you to be happy or it's been a while now. These women know. Being truly known is its own kind of medicine.
A keepsake to take home Something you created. Something you can hold. A tangible reminder of this evening and who YOU ARE.
Permission To grieve and be ambitious. To miss her and still build a beautiful life. To be exactly where you are — no timeline, no expectation, no performing okayness. Just you, as you are, held by a room full of women who are walking the same path.
Meet Nicole Weston
Nicole Weston is a transformational life coach, trained social worker, Quantum Change Process practitioner, podcast host and motherless mother.
She lost her mom suddenly on May 3rd, 2021. In the years that followed she went to the depths of her darkness, questioned everything she thought she knew about herself, and did the deep soul-level work to integrate who she was before and who she was becoming.
She started the Can't Call Your Mom podcast because she was searching for a space that held all of it — the grief, the ambition, the motherhood, the business, the identity — and she couldn't find it. So she built it.
This gathering is the in-person heartbeat of that movement. And it is the evening she would have given anything to walk into in those early days.
She cannot wait to be in the room with you.
Our gathering will be hosted at Bloom Bistro in Barrie, Ontario
